SUMMER EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Those wishing to apply to the Parks & Recreation Department for summer employment can do so until Friday, February 25th, 2011. Positions available include Day Camp Coordinator, Day Camp Counsellors, Youth Coordinators, Nature Trail Attendants and Park Attendants. Applications are available at the Stephen F. Shaar Community Centre.

Those applying should be 16 years or older. Interviews will be held at the beginning of March. For more information, contact the Hudson Parks & Recreation Dept

Swimming Lessons

8:00am or 8:30am swimming lessons will be offered to campers who are pool members. Our staff will meet your children at the pool and accompany them back to camp after their lessons. See the Hudson Community Pool section for membership information. Note: Space is limited for lessons at these times.

Activities may include games, sports, arts & crafts, swimming (non-swimmers are required to bring a life jacket), water sports, bike trips, nature hikes, playground activities, theme days, weekly bus trips and much more!

Note: All children will be required to purchase a Summer Camp T-shirt for $10.00.
-The cost of day trips is not covered in the registration fee.
-Special arrangements can be made for supervision before and after camp hours.
-There will be no camp on Friday, July 1st due to Canada Day activities.
